5. Singapore To Malaysia By Taxi

To get the taxi from Singapore to Malaysia, you can find the yellow licensed taxis at Ban San Street which is next to Queen’s Street Bus Terminal. Only these taxis are allowed to cross the immigration border and they can drop you off at any location in Johor Bahru.

However, the downside here is that there is no saying about the return journey. There are not too many taxis that are willing to come back from JB to Singapore. Also, the price is really expensive compared to buses and trains where it may charge from SGD$70.

Sometimes, the driver prefers to fill the whole taxi, a maximum of 4 people, hence it is not suitable for couples or lone travellers. The time travel is about 1.5 hours depending on the traffic condition.
